Have you ever thought of travel insurance? The answer is probably not. That’s because very few people see a need for it.
But, place yourself in another country. You only speak a broken version of their language if you speak any at all. A thief takes your luggage. Credit cards have a type of insurance, but you might need more than that. How do you get clothing? How do you get transportation with no money? No ID?
There’s so much more to it than that. Look at what medical insurance you have in your wallet? Is it only good in America? What if you are in Africa? What if you get sick and you need medical attention?
Do you think a foreign country will accept a medical card from the US? Most likely. But, it’s nothing they are obliged to do. Just look into your insurance coverage! You can get insurance when you go on trips that will cover you in any situation.
