Guide Description: I am a field/conservation biologist and has worked on a vast amount of biological topics including herpetology, ecology, conservation, botany, mammology, ornithology, ichthyology, physiology, anatomy, and morphology. Raised on a remote farm in Ohio, I have spent most of my early life immersed in what would become my life's passion…wild things, wild places and wild peoples! I have spent my life following that passion. Here are a few of my accomplishments…Field/Conservation Biologist & Tropical Ecologist, Board of Director President for a nonprofit conservation organization working in the Amazon Basin, President of World Herp Expos, Inc., Owner of Art By Evolution, former Director of Conservation & Education with a 4700-acre nonprofit conservation entity in Central Florida, American Zoological & Aquarium Association (AZA) Curator in Central Florida, Science Teacher/Professor for junior high, high school, community college and university level courses. I am far from an “ivory tower” scientist, who will lull you to sleep with dissertations.
