Guide Description: I am an open-minded person, an outdoor-enthusiast and I love travelling myself. I can show you Munich, Bavaria and the Alps either on or off the beaten track. I can organise a day or week-end in the mountains, a hiking or cycling tour, an evening in a typical Munich beer garden or a performance at the Munich opera for you. Or I can simply help you with information about accommodation, public transport, shopping, good restaurants or get you from/to the airport. I have a master's degree in political sciences, was working for the sales department in an american software company for a few years and changed my carreer last year to get some more experience in guiding people: I was working in a mountain hut in switzerland during the winter season 2004 and guided visitors on a namibian guest farm in summer 2005. Since springtime 2006 I am guiding hiking tours for a German based tour operator, but will still have time for my own tailor-cut tours. I did the Route of St. James by bike in 2004 from Germany to Santiago de Compostella - so if you have any questions about that, I am happy to help you ! My offer is for people of any age, who don't want to follow a red umbrella in a big group but enjoy the friendly company of a local guide. Since 2004 I am member of the travelling network www.hospitalityclub.org and have some experience in hosting and guiding visitors travelling individually. So what about you?
